writing for the monobrow The Monobrow is a collaborative project accepting writing submissions from across the globe and covering pretty much any and every topic. You can get involved in writing for The Monobrow too, and share your own discoveries with the wider web community. If you find it interesting, the chances are someone else will too - and why just tell a friend about it when you can share it with the world? If you are interested in submitting content for The Monobrow, please read the guidelines below. If you have ideas but don't feel like writing about them yourself, e-mail your suggestions to tips@themonobrow.com. topicsWe accept submissions covering just about any and every topic, from music, film, books, clothes, food, shopping, art, travel, a link to something interesting you have found on the web. Reviews don't have to be limited to the crop of latest releases - your subject can be old or new, as long as you feel you have something new and interesting to say about it, or can think of a good reason why someone else might be interested in it now. styleYour submission can take the form of a review, preview or recommendation, an interview (preferably written up properly rather than left in question-and-answer form), a quirky observation, or an opinion-based rant. We will also consider short creative writing pieces. lengthKeep it brief and to the point. Aim for around 200 words for reviews or recommendations, and 600-800 words for interviews and other longer pieces. toneKeep it light-hearted and chatty - no pretentious art-house critiques or overblown similes, thankyou. linksLinks are a key element of The Monobrow, so make sure you include any relevant links at the bottom of your story. formatPaste your text into the body of your email or attach as a Word or Text file, and send to submissions@themonobrow.com.
